Mikan Drill - Keep ball high (no lower than chest high) You should make between 32-38 every time you do the drill. Make 20
Lay –up Drill lay-ups from elbow for 1 minute
Post Moves to the Basket - Each move is done 8 times from the right and left side.Rebound all missed shots and take 2 Foul Shots after each move.
Drop Step -Catch ball above the low block outside the key. Drop step to the baseline with a dribble towards the baseline. As you come to a stop power up to the basket for strong lay-up.
Pivot and shoot -High Side -Catch ball above the low block outside the key. Pivot to the high side keeping the ball chest high protecting it with your elbows and making a short jumper using the backboard when possible.
Pivot High and Step Through -Catch ball above the low block outside the key. Pivot to the high side keeping the ball chest high protecting it with your elbows. Fake shot and step through the defense for a lay-up. Protect the ball with your body as you move to the basket.
Pivot and shoot -Low Side -Catch ball above the low block outside the key. Pivot to the low side keeping the ball chest high protecting it with your elbows and making a short jumper using the backboard when possible.
